太上老君于自然中说四书五经之常清静经

【导读】本文是对《太上老君说常清静经》的注释解义,选自闵智亭道长主编的《玄门日诵早晚功课经注》一书,为刘军道长所注释。

太上老君曰:大道无形,生育天地;大道无情,运行日月;大道无名,长养万物。我不知其名,强名曰道。夫道者,有清有浊,有动有静;天清地浊,天动地静。男清女浊,男动女静。降本流末,而生万物。清者浊之源,动者静之基。

人能常清静,则天地悉皆归。夫人神好清,而心扰之;人心好静,而欲牵 之。常能遣其欲,而心自静;澄其心而神自清。自然六欲不生,三毒消灭。此所以不能者,为心未澄、欲未遣也。

能遣之者,是内观其心,无念处处明觉,不着为境界。在此真理深远时,即见了宇宙间一切法相,如幻如梦,如影如泡,都虚空假,所以得出“无我”、“无物”的悟法。

仙人葛翁曰:“吾得真 道曾诵此经万遍,此经是天人所习,不传下士。”故学友若要修行,便应持诵此经,使身受益、性成就、德充满,以期达到“真常应物”,“真 常得性”。

正一真人曰:“学道之士持诵此 经,即得十天善神拥护其神,然后玉符保神金液炼形。”故凡修行的人,当以此为教训,用以警醒自己,使终身安宁,无忧虑,无烦恼,最终可达到“寂然常寂”的境界,从而实现生命的真正价值和意义。

【注释】

(1)太上老君说常 清 静 经全称《太上老君说常 清 静妙 经》,或《太上老君说常 清 静真 经》,又称《太 上 混元 上 德皇帝说 常 清 静經》,简称 《Clearing and Purifying the Mind and Body》。

(2)Old Master says: The Great Way is without form, giving rise to heaven and earth; it is without emotion, causing the sun and moon to rotate.

(3)The Great Way has no name, nurturing all things. I do not know its name, so I call it the Great Way.

(4)The Great Way has both clarity and turbidity, both movement and stillness. Heaven is clear while earth is turbid; heaven moves while earth remains still. Men are clear while women are turbid; men move while women remain still. The source of clarity gives rise to turbidity, while the basis of movement lies in stillness.

(5)If one can always maintain clarity within their mind-body system, then everything in heaven and on earth will return to them. Humans have a natural inclination towards clarity but their minds are troubled by desires; humans also have an affinity for tranquility but their hearts are entangled with desires.

By constantly releasing these desires from our minds we achieve inner peace; when our hearts become calm we see through all worldly attachments as mere illusions or dreams that fade away like mist or bubbles into nothingness. This allows us to perceive reality beyond duality – realizing there's no self nor objects existing independently.

A true adept who understands this profound truth sees all phenomena in life as fleeting appearances devoid of inherent existence or substance – hence attaining a state where one transcends egoism (no "I" exists) & materialism (no "things" exist).

Master Ge Hong states that after mastering this wisdom he has recited this text 10 thousand times because it forms part of what he calls 'the habituated practice' among gods & mortals alike - meaning those who wish enlightenment should learn from this sacred text by reading it often enough until they feel its power resonate within themselves leading toward greater spiritual development which ultimately leads one towards understanding such timeless truths about reality as how nature operates accordingly with principles involving balance between opposites i.e., yin-yang harmony where opposing forces work together harmoniously creating equilibrium resulting in overall growth for life itself.

Master Zhang Zai further elaborates saying that any aspiring practitioner must hold onto practicing these principles mentioned above consistently through study of texts like ours — ensuring constant reflection upon oneself's own inner workings— thus cultivating wisdom needed for reaching higher realms since acquiring knowledge directly from divine beings doesn't guarantee success unless practiced diligently over time — thus making sure personal transformation occurs gradually via internalizing teachings becoming more aware about universal interconnectedness fostering deeper introspection helping individuals evolve spiritually at heart level rather than just intellect alone allowing them grow closer towards unity among diverse aspects present throughout existence regardless whether seen physically tangible objects <–> ethereal concepts abstract ideas etc..
